Sinbad 1

Copyright DreamWorks Animation

Sinbad was the first big character I was entrusted to
supervise at DWA. Although I was thrown into the deep end
never having dealt with a team of that size before (15-20
animators), I couldn't refuse such an opportunity. It still stands
as one of the most gratifying experiences of my career. Even if
nobody saw it....
Following are some of my model sheets.

  19. Sinbad had a bad promotion here in Spain, and all the people who came watch it were a bit afraid. After a couple of minutes we all loved the film. You should be really proud.
I love all the stuff you have on this blog!

  20. Wow! I am a huge fan of Sinbad. I have to say it is one of the best executed animated 2D films I have ever seen.

The charming design, flawless animation, and great storyline were astonishing. It's a shame it didn't get as much hype as most other (worser) movies.

I am currently studying animation at Sheridan college in first year, and my dream is to be able to create movies such as Sinbad!

    Bravo!

  21. When I was little I totally fallen in love with Sinbad, now, after years, I've realized that with every single character drawn I try to simulate your style and design, you have plagiarized me, and i love it!
